Student Leadership

 Our Year 5 Leadership course allows us to intentionally nurture leadership qualities in our students. We aim to empower them to become confident, compassionate and effective leaders who positively influence their school and community. Opportunity is then provided to nominate for captain positions in Year 6. These include Primary School Captain, Student Representative Council and Sport Captain positions.  

Our primary coordinator serves as a mentor to our student leaders, guiding and inspiring students to foster growth and responsibility. Strengths and areas for growth are recognised and nurtured in each student leader to allow them to lead with confidence and make a meaningful difference. Students are mentored in a variety of leadership skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and character development.  

Student Leaders take an active role in the school community, working on initiatives and projects that directly impact their peers.
